TJ Hegerich, MD

Dr. Hegerich joined LSFP in 1997. He is a graduate of the University of Virginia for college and Medical School. His family medicine residency was through the Fairfax Family Practice Residency Program. He is certified by the American Board of Family Medicine and has special interests in medical information technology, teaching, prevention, pediatrics and sports medicine.

Dr. Hegerich has been a visiting clinical professor at UVA since 1998. He has been a member of Loudoun Medical Groups Information Technology Committee since 2000 and was instrumental in selecting and implementing our current electronic medical records(EMR) system. TJ and his wife Stacey live in Loudoun County with their four children. Dr. Hegerich has a personal interest in sports medicine and has served as coach for his childrens soccer teams for several years. He has also served as team physician for Potomac Falls HS from 1997-2001 and most recently for Woodgrove HS in Purcellville.
